ChannelTeq has designed, installed and maintained mobile coverage systems since 2014. Today we look after everything that keeps a site connected, from mobile signal and Wi-Fi to the internet line and the cameras. We have diversely skilled teams to support every aspect of your requirements.
We’ve worked with UK mobile operators and neutral host providers on sites from offices and hospitals to stadiums and leisure venues. Our engineers have introduced new technology for major operators worldwide, from small cells to CBRS in North America, tested equipment from different makers together in lab and live networks, and built private 4G and 5G networks in the UK, the Netherlands and Germany.
Every job is planned with a site-specific risk assessment and method statement, and carried out by trained, certified engineers.
Ben founded ChannelTeq in 2014 and has led it ever since. An electrical and electronic engineering graduate from the University of Bath, he previously spent five years as a wireless infrastructure engineer with a company providing support and services to all the mobile network operators. He brings more than 17 years in mobile networks, from in-building design and installation to support work for a UK mobile network operator.
Neil runs operations, health and safety and compliance, and champions team growth, development and training for excellence. He began his career as a telecommunications technician and served 20 years in the British Army, rising to Major and leading governance and compliance for an engineering maintenance and support organisation. Since then he has run operations and supply chains in manufacturing, medical devices and the NHS, most recently for a five-hospital trust. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership, a Member of the City and Guilds of London Institute and a certified Lean practitioner.
